Arab Environment Day ’22 – Open Mic Event
“ازرع شجرة حتى لو كانت آخر أعمالك”
“Plant a tree even if it is your last deed”
Every year on October 14th, the Arab World celebrates Arab Environment Day. On this day, Arab environment ministers and other officials gathered with the goal of fostering cooperation among Arab nations. Arab government representatives specifically aimed to promote cooperation on environmental concerns and identify solutions to build a more sustainable world.
An open mic was held on October 13th to mark the Arab Environment Day. Students were asked general environmental questions, and those who answered correctly were gifted a plant. The event truly emphasized the day’s overall goal, which was to encourage students to show love and care for the environment and also stay aware about the environment and its issues!
