For Our Emirates We Plant ’22 | Tree Plantation Drive

To uphold this condition, the students of DPS, Sharjah reinforced their link with nature by planting over a dozen trees at Al Minae, Ras Al Khaimah.
The young ecologists expressed their solidarity and allegiance to the environment by volunteering for the tree plantation drive of 17th December 2022, organized by the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG).
The cohort of students diligently dug ditches and placed the roots into the soil, followed by covering it with sand and cotton for optimal water absorption. A mini botany and environmental lesson combined,this little expedition proved to be a joy for the attending students. Teachers, students, as well as parents, exhibited their teamwork by working together to afforest the arid landscape of the site.
The environmentalists of Delhi Private School, Sharjah, have, once again, continued their legacy of promoting sustainability and a green future under the “For Our Emirates We Plant” campaign of EEG.
