EARTH DAY

“Protect our planet, it’s the only one we’ve got.”

Delhi Private School, Sharjah, marked Earth Day on April 22, 2025, with a series of purposeful activities aimed at fostering environmental stewardship among students and staff. The day began with a school-wide pledge led by Principal Ms. Vandana Marwaha, followed by interactive presentations and quizzes focused on ecological conservation. A key highlight was the introduction of an eco-brick initiative, where students will repurpose waste into sustainable furniture, and the collaborative creation of a vibrant tree mural made from recycled bottle caps. Complemented by a nature-themed dress code for faculty, the event successfully transformed environmental awareness into collective action, reinforcing the community’s long-term commitment to protecting the planet.
