8th UN Climate Change Conference of Youth (COY18)

Sashini Manikandan of 10H and Kanshika Manikandan of 4K have been given the golden opportunity to represent the Global Youth and take part in the first-ever Global COP Simulation organized by the UNICEF under the patronage of Youngo, the official International Youth Climate Movement under UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).

The sisters were a part of the youth delegation to discuss resolutions of the Global Youth Statement at the Connect Conference Center at Expo City. The resolutions presented by these young girls, along with other youth environmentalists from around the world, to tackle climate change, will be included in the official resolution of the Global Youth Statement in COP 28.

Furthermore, Delhi Private School, Sharjah is proud to acknowledge that Kanshika is the youngest student in the program, and both have been officially appointed as UNICEF Ambassadors.
