DPS Sharjah Shines at EEG Environmental Art Competition 2025

On May 22, 2025, the 20th Cycle of the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) Environmental Drawing Competition concluded with a prestigious award ceremony at the Ismaili Centre in Dubai. Students from Delhi Private School, Sharjah, distinguished themselves by earning top honors across multiple categories for their creative interpretations of sustainability themes. In the 9–11 age group, Heer Sharma secured the winner’s position for her work on renewable energy, while Kanshika Manikandan and Riaan Rai received consolation prizes. Additionally, Anjali Priya earned the Second Runner-Up spot in the senior category for her poignant piece addressing the global e-waste crisis. These accolades, celebrated by Principal and Director Ms. Vandana Marwaha, underscore the institution’s success in blending artistic excellence with deep environmental advocacy.
