WORKSHOP ON BIODIVERSITY GRADE 9 & 10

To mark World Biodiversity Day on May 22, 2025, the Sustainability Team at Delhi Private School, Sharjah, hosted an impactful workshop for Grade 9 and 10 students featuring the esteemed environmental expert Dr. Noreldaim Elkhidir. Drawing on his extensive background in academic leadership and environmental research across the Middle East, Dr. Elkhidir delivered a poignant presentation on the global threats facing our ecosystems and the critical interdependence of species. The session successfully blended rigorous information with interactive elements, including a competitive Kahoot! quiz that recognized top-performing students with certificates. By emphasizing the societal imperative of conservation, the workshop moved beyond theoretical learning to inspire a genuine sense of stewardship, leaving participants with a profound understanding that protecting biodiversity is essential for sustaining both nature and human life.
