On the second day of the 23rd Interschool Environmental Public Speaking Competition, which was hosted by Emirates Environmental Group, the four-member delegation from our school, ‘Water Warriors’, comprised of Sashini Manikandan (X-H), Shaina Mukherjee (X-E), Tanvi Suraj (X-E), and Yuvam Takkar (X-J), spoke on the topic ‘Dwindling Lakes Diminishing Rivers: Addressing Fresh Water Depletion.’
Our school team spoke strongly about the need to address the world’s water shortage and offered two creative methods to do it. The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment as well as specialists from the Municipality assessed the competition.
By winning the First Runners Up Award amid numerous prestigious schools and teams throughout the UAE, the team bought honour to the institution. The dipsites deserve a lot of praise!
