Environment Day Walk 2022

On the prestigious occasion of World Environment Day, DPS Sharjah campaigned for the preservation of our Earth, our home, in an initiative to evoke feelings of environmental concern and to spread awareness.
The senior members of the EcoGen Club successfully organized an awareness run on 2nd of June, 2022, highlighting the importance of preserving our rivers and the soil that support the very life on Earth.
With immense enthusiasm and ardour, the members of the Eco Committee and prefects jointly walked around the green field, hearts adorned with zeal and responsibility towards our earth, holding up slogans on ‘Save the Soil’ and ‘Protect Rivers’ as their symbol of solidarity in environmental preservation and restoration.
Packed with intense determination and pride, the run was headed by our Environment Presidents, Tisha Maryam and Siddhant Pradhan.
Siddhant, Tisha, and Akshit Ganesh Kumar addressed the Dipsites, with their words of wisdom, highlighting the importance of our Mother Earth and kindling the desire to advocate in the hearts of Dipsites.
This initiative truly opened the eyes of many to the growing concern of the deteriorating conditions of our natural resources, the source of nature’s splendor.
