World Environment Day 2022 – Primary Wing

The World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities. Keeping this aim in view, young Dipsites of Delhi Private School, Sharjah, Primary Wing participated and celebrated World Environmental Day enthusiastically on 31st May, 2022. A lot of enthusiasm was seen in the students. The event was conducted successfully with wholehearted participation and awareness about working towards our environment.

Our tiny tots of KG1 made posters for their washrooms on Toilet Rules and for water dispenser area on Save Water. KG2 children too made posters and a pencil holder using recycled materials. Ever enthusiastic Grade 1 and 2 students took the opportunity to make wall hangings and posters reusing old materials.

Posing as young environmentalists, grade 3 children jotted down points on how to achieve sustainable goals at home and at school. Artistic grade 4, created a Quilling art depicting a Sustainable community whereas creative and critical thinkers of grade 5 designed a POA for an SDG and attempted quiz.

The World Environment Day is celebrated The celebrations came to an end with everyone pledging to take the initiative of saving the environment and doing their bit for a cleaner and greener Mother Earth.
